Muncy Bank Donation Supports American Red Cross

(February 22, 2017) The Muncy Bank and Trust Company recently presented a check for $10,000 to the American Red Cross in support of educational initiatives in schools.  The funding is part of the EITC (Educational Improvement Tax Credit) program.

The donation will provide support for running blood drives, learning health and safety procedures like CPR and the correct use of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator), as well as disaster preparedness and the installation of Red Cross Clubs for students.  The clubs teach high school students to facilitate programs that are guided by the fundamental principles of the American Red Cross and its mission to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies.
