Muncy Bank Donation Supports Salvation Army Program
February 2, 2017 Rob Glunk, The Muncy Bank & Trust Company President and CEO, recently announced that the bank has pledged $25,000 to the Salvation Army, Williamsport Corps. in support of its Assets for Independence (AFI) program.
Through AFI, the Salvation Army Williamsport will dramatically further its ability to lift low-income families out of the cycle of poverty through financial education and special-purpose matched savings accounts, moving participants toward greater self-sufficiency and fiscal responsibility.
According to Glunk, “We are excited to support the Salvation Army and the AFI program. Helping community members develop strong financial habits is a goal everyone should support.”
